1 Day Retainer Service

Retainers are custom made appliances for each individual to maintain and hold the alignment of your teeth after the completion of orthodontics treatment.

There are two types of retainers we provide;

Removable retainers:

These are made from a clear thermoplastic mould, they are made to provide support to the teeth to prevent them from moving out of their desired position after removal of braces.

A removable retainer will be designed to retain every tooth in the arch. It is ideal to wear the retainer for as long as possible throughout the day and night, and to remove for eating, brushing and flossing.

Fixed retainers:

These are custom made small gold plated wire retainers that are designed to be bonded to the back of the front six teeth in the arch. They can be bonded to the upper or lower arches. The wire is discreetly bonded to the teeth using white filling material.

Fixed retainers are ideal for patients who tend to mis place or forget to wear their removable retainers.

Fixed retainers can also be designed for patients to stabilise mobile teeth.

we can produce retainers for people who have lost/damaged them etc. in a day. This service normally takes around a week from other orthodontics/dental providers.
